Join us at the 2012 Scuba Olympics on April 1st, 2012

We will, once again, compete for the gold in fun scuba style events!
Can you ride a bicycle underwater? Our scuba athletes can! We'll have several fun races for all to enjoy and ultimately see who takes the gold!

In our Scuba Olympics everyone is a winner. Besides having a great day at the Long Center in Clearwater, your efforts will raise needed dollars for the Adaptive Swim Team at the Long Center.

These wonderful guys and girls need your help to continue to enjoy fantastic adventures that all of us can help provide. All while having a great time.

This year we have opened the event to any group of divers looking to compete! Dive clubs, dive centers, school groups, scouts and more! You need to be a certified scuba diver to enter...that's all!

Scuba Olympics, another great PADO event!

On March 27th close to 50 scuba divers competed in four "Olympic style" events at the Long Center in Clearwater Florida.
A balloon lift race, underwater bicycle race, a diver tow and a three legged race were the Olympic events. The money raised was donated to the Long Center's Adaptive swim team.

Pictured here are representatives of the Adaptive swim Team and their coaches receiving a check for $800.00 This money will be used for the team to participate in the Special Olympics.

A special thanks to the Long Center, our dive community and our volunteer divers for making this a fantastic day!
